After a loooonnnngggg stretch of silence (caused primarily by my technical incompetence) I am back! So… what’s new? OUR NAME for starters. We are now The Crossing @ Birchwood! Why? It goes back to the early church. The first church was simply called, The Way. The name begs the question, “The way to what?” Answer: to hope, to truth, to joy, to fulfillment, to LIFE, to CHRIST! Our new name, The Crossing, begs the same question. What does it mean? A crossing is a place of decision. It’s a movement. It’s the only way to get from where you are to where you want to be. Lots of things are happening in the lives of people here- good things- challenging things- GOD things. Join us as we discover what it means to live life with the ultimate purpose!
